A majority of developers in Eastern Visayas reported that they used ChatGPT in 2023 and most would like to use it this year. Google Bard AI and Bing AI were also among the top three AI search tools used by developers.

AI Data Sets Opinion

We asked developers in Eastern Visayas if they believe that it is okay for AI developers to use any data (e.g. images, text) obtained through any means (e.g. web scraping, scanning), regardless of whether permission was obtained or not from the author of the data, for use in training AI models. Less than half say that they have a neutral stance on the issue. Among those with stances, there are slightly more developers who agree that it is okay for AI developers to use any data set for training AI models than those who do not.
